Update: Cooper @ 18 months!

No pictures this go around. Not because I don't have 100 to post but because I can't find what box I put the cable in. Wait....box. Yes, that's right. We moved into our house 2 weeks ago and are LOVING it! We have already started fun little traditions. First, Cooper is responsible for closing the garage door. He starts shouting "button" as soon as we pull in the garage because he knows he gets to close it. Second, we have a very long and spacious hallway that leads into our house. We have races, we throw balls, we pretty much can do just about anything in this hallway. I have already started to envision Cooper (and future siblings) playing soccer, bowling, and racing down the hallway. We are pretty much moved in and have unpacked most of the house too. I hope to post some pictures eventually.
Now back to Cooper...

- I can no longer keep up with his words. He says anything and everything. He current favorites are stinky, hiney, cheese, bat, ball, side=outside or slide, car, button, apple, and bone=phone. He is so much fun because of all of his words.
- He loves the new house. He goes straight to the back door and into the backyard before I have time to set our stuff down. He has become a much happier kid in the evening now that we have so much space and a backyard. We went to the apartment today to clean up a few things and he cried when we got up to the top and started saying "down."
-He LOVES water. I know I said this last time but it is probably his favorite thing. His new favorite game is to get the water hose and water the grass and then spray himself in the face. Makes for a nice clean up after dinner and the grass doesn't seem to mind the water.
-His best friend is "Bre Bre" or Braeden. He asks and talks about Braeden at leas 10 times a day. Every time he sees a garage door with a dark handle (including ours) he says "Bre Bre."
-He eats whole apples. His new favorite fruit is blackberries.
-He can kick and throw a ball with no problem and is working on the idea of batting.
- He knows the color red. He can sign the color blue but can't pick it out of a line up.
- He still loves airplanes and choo choos.
- He has started liking hot wheels.
- It's looking like he is going to be right handed. He pretty consistently throws right handed, eats right handed, and colors right handed. I make him bat left (not on purpose but I bat left so its hard to switch).
- Well, I guess that sums up the big stuff...

Until next time (hopefully with pictures).

What's going on?!?!

Get ready it's a long one...

I know I have been gone FOREVER! But let me leave you with a quick update! Cooper is officially a toddler and my time to blog has pretty much disappeared :).

Here's what is going on...
- Cooper is talking (ALOT). His words as of today are mama, dada, PopPop (my dad), go-go, bye-bye, ball, more, hot, brrr, bath, truck, car, bible, tree, "ranpa" (grandpa), hey, hi, yay, all done, "ickey" (Mickey), "nana" (banana), "wawa" (water), backpack (from Dora), "bada" (Braeden his best bud), night night, wow, oh, uh-oh, quack quack, ah-ah-ah (monkey), oof oof (dog), booooo (cow). He also signs please, all done, and more.

- He loves airplanes and helicopters. When he hears them he stops everything says "ohhhhh" and points to the sky.

- He LOVES water. We can't even say the word bath unless we mean RIGHT NOW. He had to touch just about every source of water we see. Pools, puddles, sprinklers, showers, sink, and we are learning that water in the toiliet is a NO NO!

- We take swim lessons once a week. He blows bubbles, kicks (on occasion), jumps of the step, lies still to float, go under with no trouble, and his personal favorite is getting a ring from the bottom of the pool.

- He would live outside if we let him. We have to leave our door open on our patio because he is outside ALL DAY!

- He has a pretty good arm. He throws all sorts of balls but also throws anything he can get his hands on.

- He eats well for the most part. His favorites are blueberries, cheese, goldfish, bread, mac 'n cheese, green beans, anything with ketchup, and yogurt from a tube.

-He shows you his muscles and knows how to "finish a race". He leans forward and sticks his arms backwards while running around the house when we say finish.

-He absolutely HATES his car seat. It is a huge fight to get him in.

- We have taken away the pacifier for the most part. Only bedtime, naptime, and bible class (because he cries).

- He loves to hide in the kitchen cabinet that is designated his.

- He has all of his alphabet letters in a pot. He stirs them while I am cooking.

- He love remotes and knows which one actually works.

- He has 'tee-teed' in the potty 1 time. It was a fluke but it happened. He like to sit on the potty before we give him a bath.

- He HATES changing his cloths or diaper. It is a HUGE ordeal in life right now.

-He loves to read. He only like you to read the first page but he will sit in his chair and flip through his books.

- He can climb up and down the stairs by himself.

- He loves to dance. If he hears music he is dancing. His favorite songs are "This Little Light of Mine," "Cast your Burdens (the higher part)", "If Your Happy and You Know It", "Patty Cake".

- His favorite person is my dad.

- He has three cell phones and frequently is on the phone with dada or Pops. None of the phone actually work but he holds very long conversations with them.

- He is wearing 18 months clothes but already needs 24 months tops because of his long torso.

- He likes to play in the sand.

- He loves dogs. He has no fear even if they are 70 plus pounds.

- He likes bubbles.

- He enjoys going to the Zoo and loves the caurosel ride.

- Sleeps well.

That sums up the big things I can think of right now. I leave you with a few pictures.
