7 months and counting...

Cooper is officially 7 months old! He is now crawling (or scooting) anywhere his little heart desires, saying ba-ba-ba-ba and da-da-da-da all day long and...SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!! He has quite the little personality! He loves to laugh and smile but knows when its time to cry (well, at least he thinks he will get what he wants that way). He such a bundle of joy!! He is also working on his first tooth! It is through the gum and you can feel it but it is hard to see! It took some work but it is FINALLY here!! Cooper also knows how to play "hard to get." He has said "ma" a few times but if you look at him and day "ma-ma-ma-ma" he smiles and says da-da-da-da! It is so funny! We took some family pictures last weekend so enjoy! We leave for New York on the 1st to visit Danny's family! I am excited about the trip but nervous about the flight with our little wiggle worm! Here are the pictures (there are tons!!!)!!! Cooper quickly learned how to splash! He splashed himself in the face but it never bothered him a bit!

Cooper also has recently become fascinated by dogs. He had his first up close encounter with Stitch and Leo. Stitch let him stick his hands in his mouth, pull on his lips, and tug on his ears! Cooper loved the attention.

Leo was a little more hesitant than Stitch initially but Cooper broke him and tried to eat his nose...Leo started to play along and licked him in the face! Cooper loved it!

Cooper loves the water. He takes swim lessons on Wednesday afternoons and every time he sees water tries to dive out of our arms for it. If we walk into the bathroom he reaches for the shower and laughs. I will post picture later of his "swim time" in the sink when it was raining earlier this week!! There is another new post below this one so keep reading!!

Visiting from Alaska...

Our sweet friend Heath, Erin, Charyse, and Trace came down from Alaska for a big, long Texas visit! We were very thankful that they stayed with us (meaning we got to spend lots of time together :) )!! We went to the safari (which you saw in last post), played around our apartment, went swimming, and watched our friend Brie get married!! Here are some pictures of our fun 2 weeks :)!!

We had a wonderful trip and can't wait to see them again!!! We are planning a trip to Alaska next summer!!!
