Third Trimester is here!

Well, I was waiting to post once Danny got some pictures uploaded but that seems to be taking longer than expected so I will update now. Danny started school on Monday and so far everything is going well. He classes aren't too big yet, and he hasn't had many problem children but he knows they will come. Cross country is going great! He had a parents meeting Tuesday night (this is the first time the cross country team has EVER had a parent's meeting) and probably 3/4 of the team showed up which is awesome. Everyone is very excited about this season. His runners are working hard and he has a few that have potential to qualify outside of district. Meanwhile, I have been REALLY bored. I am studying for the board exam, but who can REALLY study all day long. So now on most days I go to school with Danny. He has a little office behind his classroom that I can use as a study/work room. I work on stuff for his classes and the cross country team and do my stuff in between. I don't go all day but I show up for lunch (which is at 10 am) and then stay for the rest of the day which ends at 2pm. Then we head to cross country practice. I am Danny's assistant coach :). The team really enjoys us being out there and since I know a "little" but about cross country it makes it fun! Plus, Danny can run with his team when I am there to be the timer.
Cooper is getting bigger by the week. He has moving like crazy, pretty much all day long. Last night Danny and I were sitting on the couch watching my belly and it seemed to move side to side, up and down, and the ripple all with in a few seconds. It was crazy! We are pretty sure Cooper has learned a few dances including the Hokey Poky (we get elbows and knees all the time), the two step, and the electric slide :). We love when Cooper interacts with us! We have registered at Babies 'R Us and with help "grandpa" (enter what my dad wants to be called here) we purchased his crib last weekend. Our nursery theme is going to be Vintage Mickey/Sports and the colors are vintage red, navy blue, and an off white. We can't wait to set it all up.
We haven't sold the house yet so please keep that in your prayers especially as we get closer to November. Danny is working on getting "pregnancy progression" pictures uploaded so we can show you how much I have grown in the past 2 months. Have a great day!!

An update

It has been awhile since the last post and life just keeps on moving. Our house has officially been on the market for just over three weeks. We have had three people look but no offers as of this morning. We are hopefully that it will sell in God's timing, but wish we could have a little peak as to when that might be :). We had a great vacation with the McVey family in New Braunsfels. I haven't been to Schliterbaun since I was in the youth group so it was good to go again even though I couldn't do much :). Cooper continues to grow as does my belly. While we were in New Braunsfels I grew like 3 inches over night. I am exaggerating but that is what it felt like. Danny look at my stomach that morning and said, "WOW! You grew over night!" He was in true amazement. Cooper is getting more and more fun everyday. He recently started responding to Danny's voice. If his daddy talks to him he will wake up and play. He will kick Danny's face when he lays it on my belly and responds to questions. We get a good laugh out of it sometimes, especially when Danny starts asking him goofy question like which brand of running shoes he prefers. We can see him moving around as well. There have been times we can watch him shift from on side to the other and back. He is a active little fella. He also has made it very clear that he likes his space I am not to intrude. He tends to sit low so he does not care much for seat belts and like to jump on my bladder to let me know about it. If I bend over or lean forward and cramp his style he goes crazy! It is funny to feel and see! We have yet to decide on a color/theme for his bedroom (our mind keeps changing) but we will get there eventually. We are so excited that the time is getting closer!!
Danny officially started cross country practice this morning. He is excited because the team not only doubled (maybe even tripled) in size but the runners are much more committed this year. We are both excited to see how they do in the first few races which will be towards the end of August. I am still on "research break" but that will come to an end on August 31st. I have started studying for the national board exam I have to take at some point. The timing of the test will all depend on when this little guy decides to make his grand appearance. I am cleared to test mid-November but that is pretty close to the due date so we shall see. Everything else is going well! Danny and I have enjoyed so much getting to spend countless hours with each other this summer. We have been so spoiled! It is going to be hard to get back into the swing of things.

Congrats to Michael and Rebekah Ocampo!! They were married on August 1st and had a beautiful wedding and reception! We wish them the best!
