Due date

Well, we had our dating ultrasound yesterday. We were a little nervous but everything turned out great! Our due date is 11/19/09. So we have already learned a little something about the personality of our baby. We are looking closely and very intently at the screen and we see what looks like a character of of Nintendo Wii running in place and doing flips. Yep, thats our baby. The doctor just started laughing and said, "Well, guess we don't really need to look at the heart, a baby running around like that has to have one." I look over at my dad and Danny who are also watching in amazement and they have this goofy grin and are looking at each other with thoughts of a new little runner dancing in their heads. So we now know two things about the baby. There is a good chance it is going to be a runner/athletic and number two that it is HYPER already just like it's Dad. Needless say, we are VERY excited. It was an amazing expereince to see our baby actually moving on the ultrasound. And by the way there is only one. Danny was predicting twins but thank goodness there is only one! I will try to scan a picture of the ultrasound later next week! Thanks for all your prays!

An update by special request :)

Well, a friend from church told me I needed to update my blog so here goes. Alot has happened since I wrote one month ago. About three days after I posted the last blog Danny and I got some very surprising news!! A positive pregnancy test :):) YEAH!! I actually thought it was negative at first but than at 2nd glance got the light pink line. It was confirmed by a very excited soon to be grandpa (Dr. Mark) with a blood test. We had an ultrasound about 2 weeks ago and everything looked great. We don't have an exact due yet, but it will be sometime around Thanksgiving! The timing will work out great with school since I only have 2 and 3/4 of my rotations left and we are officially finished October 30th. Danny and I are very excited! We told are parents ASAP and slowly the rumor started getting out. We decided not to wait and try to have a big surprise this time because God forbid something should happen again we will need the support of our family and friends. We are both very, very excited as are the soon to be grandparents! I have been dealing with a little morning sickness here and there which does seem to present some problems when working but I am getting by as long as I have a granola bar or crackers in my pocket. The big thing is the fatigue! I AM SOOOO TIRED! By noon I am ready for nap...which I can't take because of work...and by 4 I am ready for another one. Unfortunately, I don't get naps right now but I am not going to complain because I will take the fatigue and morning sickness as long as the end result is good. We will get an official due date at the next ultrasound on April 22nd so please keep Danny and I in your prayers. There are some days that my nerves get the best of me, but I have done well and tried not to worry very much. I will keep you all posted as I get information but again please keep us in your prayers! WE'RE HAVING A BABY :):)!
