Cooper Paul is 1!!!!

One year ago today, God blessed me with a precious little angel. He arrived after not to much trouble at 5:47 pm on 11/20/2009. He came out with his eyes wide open ready to discover the world and hasn't closed them much since. He is a true blessings and we couldn't be happier. He isn't walking yet but we are not in any hurry! He loves to play with balls, love to see animals, and loves attention! Cooper, mommy and daddy love you so much and pray that God continues to hold you as your grow! You are our precious first born! Happy Birthday Cooper!

Super Cooper

So this post is a little late but better late than never! Cooper was "Super Cooper" for Halloween! We went to the Treat In The Trunk at our church and had a blast! We handed out candy to over 3,000 people, had a great time hanging with some friends (I mean ninja turtles), and loved watching Cooper and crawl around in the back of the truck pretty much the while evening! He didn't mind the costume one but and certainly didn't mind having his very first piece of candy ever! A BLUE lollipop! He loved it and washed it down with 8 oz of water...he was a little thirsty after that piece of candy! Anyways, below are a few pictures! We had a birthday party for Cooper and his friend Mason last weekend...pictures to come soon (and you won't want to miss these!)

Oil Ranch Farm

A few weekends ago we went to the Oil Ranch Farm with some of our great friends the Kasingers. and Halls. We had a blast and got to do alot of fun things. The weather was great and the fellowship was greater :)! Coop had alot of 'firsts.' Oil Ranch Farm is located in Hockley, TX and has a pumpkin patch, pony rides, lots of farm animals, train rides, pumpkin scare crows, and a sand box (which I think was the favorite by the end of the day for Cooper). On another note, Cooper turned 11 months old yesterday. He is getting big and growing up so fast! He is into just about everything (especially if he is not supposed to be), cruise walls, furniture, people, or anything else that will support him, talking like he's got alot to say, throwing temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way, smiling alot, and laughing at everything mostly to see your reaction! He is a precious angel and I can't believe he is almost 1!!!
~This picture isn't from the farm, but it was so cute I needed to post it! He is such a happy little guy~

These next two pictures come with a preface...Pay very close attention to there faces and then I dare you to tell me they are not father and son.

~Cooper got to milk a cow...he doesn't look happy but trust me he didn't want to leave the cow~

~Cooper on his first pony. He LOVED it and rode it more than once.

~Cooper was very excited when the pony started moving. I think he had his mouth open like this the entire time.~

Like Father Like Son

Cooper loves his daddy! Cooper has been going through "Daddy withdraws" since school started. They had a great summer together and now all Cooper talks about is "dadadada." His eyes light up when he sees him and his grin won't fit on his face. Danny has been getting home late because of football so every moment is very precious. They have a very special connection and both are crazy about each and me of course :)!!! Cooper already loves to play catch and wrestle with his daddy. When Danny lays on the floor Cooper scoots (occasionally crawling now) as fast as he can to climb on Danny and pat his chest. He looks up and smiles as big as possible and is soooo proud of himself. He loves to be flung in the air, flipped upside down, and spun around by Danny...but I better not think twice about playing the same games :)!

Lowering the ears...

Well, I finally gave in and cut Cooper's hair. His bangs were down past his eye brows, he had hair growing in his ears, and had a pretty decent rat tail. Cooper LOVES to play with his hair (especially when he eats now). This means that we end up with a head full of food after every meals...and because its so long it usually require a full out bath. So after lunch on Saturday and smashed ravioli in his hair I decided to give him his first buzz. We had been waiting to take him somewhere to get his hair cut but I gave in to Daddy's request and gave him a buzz. He did a great job! He sat in Danny's lap in the bath tub. He sat real still for about 5 minutes and then stood up for the rest. Its a little uneven in some places but not bad for the first go around. He looks all grown up now. Several times I have caught myself thinking several times how my 9 1/2 month old grew to be a 2 year old in a matter of minutes.
